Skylines (aka Skyline 3) unveils new series of character posters

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I'm not going to lie, I'm surprised that Skyline of all things has become a relatively successful franchise, especially since all I remembered about the first one was that the producers of Battle: Los Angeles accused the original film's directors – The Brothers Strause – for stealing VFX assets from them (since the directors' effects company Hydraulx Films helped do VFX for Battle: Los Angeles), and that it starred one of the guys from Scrubs.

But here we are, a decade and two sequels later, with the third film in the series – titled Skylines – releasing a series of stylish, interconnected character posters (which you can see at the bottom of the article). Here's the official synopsis:

When a virus threatens to turn the now earth-dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans, Captain Rose Corley must lead a team of elite mercenaries on a mission to the alien world in order to save what's left of humanity.

Meanwhile, Skylines – written and directed by Liam O’Donnell and starring Lindsey Morgan, Rhona Mitra, and Alexander Siddig – is out digitally right now, but will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on January 12, 2021!

So what do you guys think? Fans of the first two Skyline films? If so, what do you think of the upcoming sequel? Either way, sound off below!
