So yet another bullshit streaming device is coming out of the woodwork to hurt my wallet and tempt me to start torrenting shit again. This time it's from Vice Entertainment, and it will be called Blackpills.
However, having said all that, there's an interesting line-up of talent and show premises debuting on the service. Some of the more intriguing ones are a mysterious show called TYCOON from Bryan Singer and Louis Leterrier, a show about little girl assassins from Luc Besson called PLAYGROUND, and the one I'm most curious about, a TV show about SPRINGBREAKERS.
The question remains if the premise can sustain a whole show (then again, that's the same problem PRISON BREAK faced, and that shit went on for like five seasons), but I'm interested. I don't know if I liked the film per se, but I found it fascinating nonetheless (it's definitely beautiful). No word if James Franco will be in the cast (or if it'll even be in the film's continuity), but he's done weirder things, so who knows?
