The force is with us; the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is here!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The narcissistic writer in me would like to believe that you’re taking the time to read my words, but I know damn well that you’ve already scrolled down to watch what is probably the most anticipated trailer of the year; heck, if I didn’t have to write this out, that’s exactly what I’d be doing. That’s more than enough jibber jabber Kevin, so let’s sit back, dim the lights, and prepare ourselves to watch the brand spankin’ new trailer for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.

I definitely didn't need another Star Wars trailer to convince me to get my butt into the theater come December 18, 2015, but my internal debate on whether or not I should watch the new trailer for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS lasted all of two seconds. Thankfully the marketing campaign for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS has been just about perfect, it’s given us just enough to put our minds at ease and has thankfully avoided the mistake that so many blockbuster trailers seem to make, that of playing out the entire film over the course of two minutes. It's good to know that there are still plenty of surprises, new characters, and all around Star Wars goodness to come.

Pre-sale tickets for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS have already been made available, but many of the ticket sites have crashed due to the extremely heavy traffic. We're a plentiful bunch apparently. As every theater seems to be running their own promotion, here's a rundown of the various theater exclusives.

Sound off below with your thoughts on the new trailer, favourite segments, and any lingering apprehensions you may still have.
