Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Welcome back to "Fantasizing About Fantasy Films" – JoBlo.com's all-new series digging into some of the best fantasy films of the eighties and nineties. All of these movies left a mark on us kids of the eighties, but perhaps none more so than Wolfgang Petersen's The NeverEnding Story. An adaptation of Michael Ende's novel, the film inspired a generation of filmgoers, all of whom were left marked by some of the surreal, wonderful (and often tragic) imagery. Join us as writer/host Jessica Dwyer digs into what makes the film such an enduring classic, and watched up with Atreyu himself, Noah Hathaway!
