Tom Cruise: Incredible Deepfake Creator Shows How It’s Done

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

By now, we all know that Tom Cruise is capable of many things beyond running really fast on camera. But who would have thought that TikTok would be up there on the actor's plate? Well, actually it ain't. But good luck seeing the difference in the video up top! It was created by Belgian visual effects artist Christopher Ume, who used AI-enhanced software to superimpose Cruise’s face over that of Tom Cruise impersonator, Miles Fisher. For more amazing Cruise TikTok videos, click here.

I know that work seems impossible, but Ume is the real freakin deal when it comes to F/X magic! And Fisher definitely has his Cruise-isms down! Remarkable how real it looks and just goes to show where we are headed in terms of film technology. What do you guys think? Who else would you want to see get some Deepfake action?
