Watch Bryan Cranston become Walter White in new time-lapse video

Now that the release of Netflix's EL CAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE has come and gone, fans of Vince Gilligan's BREAKING BAD have once again fallen on hard times. I say this because now that Gilligan's Jesse-centric epilogue is out in the wild, how else are fans expected to get their fix of Blu Sky shenanigans and gangsters gone rogue? I'll tell you how, by watching a new video that's popped up on Bryan Cranston's personal Instagram account! The newly-posted video gives us an in-depth look at the process of transforming the MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE alum into Walter White, the chemistry professor turned drug kingpin and pizza slinging champion to the stars!

In the caption that accompanies the video, Cranston jokes that it took him under a minute to become his BREAKING BAD alter ego, Walter White. This statement is total bunk, of course, as it likely took Cranston's makeup team much longer than that to complete the look. For starters, do you see how careful the makeup tech is to position Cranston's bald cap just so? And how every part of the actor's hair needs to be hidden and accounted for? We're talking about a nip/tuck job for the books, my friends, and that's only in relation to getting Cranson's dome under control. After the bald cap is applied, the makeup team then needs to apply any signature blemishes or scars. After all, Walter White has been through the ringer and back, so naturally his skin would reflect those trying times and then some. It really is a fascinating transformation, and now the meticulous process has been edited down into an easily-digestible video for every BREAKING BAD fan to enjoy.

We know not what the future holds for Gilligan's BREAKING BAD series after El Camino's release, so my advice is to soak this new video in as much as you can.

Would you like to see BREAKING BAD return in some form other than EL CAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE? Another spinoff perhaps? Let us know in the comments section below.
