if the joker was planed for the third one I would kill him off in a flashback or at the start of it by two-face how is realy pissed off at him for what he did to gothem.

This is BernieLaplante checkin in to say these clips are Jokerific!! I'm totally amazed ansd mezmerized by this footage and I keep watching these clips over and over. I have now shown these clips to several of my friends who have all been totally blown away.

This Joker is going down in history as one for the ages. I know thats a bold statement for a guy who hasn't even seen the f...
This is BernieLaplante checkin in to say these clips are Jokerific!! I'm totally amazed ansd mezmerized by this footage and I keep watching these clips over and over. I have now shown these clips to several of my friends who have all been totally blown away.

This Joker is going down in history as one for the ages. I know thats a bold statement for a guy who hasn't even seen the film, but the evidence is right there in those clips. Half of my friends don't really even know who Heath Ledger was till I show em pics and interview footage. He is completely unrecogniziable as this [link] This role will stand for decades to come as the final bow of a truely talented artist.

As for the spoilers, I don't see how this can be thought of as spoiling. Theres like three previews and ten spots or something, but its mostly all the same footage redited with a few extra shots and dialouge here and there. I believe we've seen less then a total of 15 minutes of the actual film and thats including the 7 minute imax prolouge; the movie is 2.5 hours long. So whats been spoiled? We've no idea whats going to happen.

I dont know about you guys, but this has been the longest 7 days of July in my entire life.

It seems Chris Nolan has finally achieved what we long knew was possible but no one in H.Wood was willing to try.

I heard that theres a scene with Joker in a body bag that they were trying to decide wether or not to leave in the movie b/c they felt it was in bad taste to show Joker/Ledger in a body bag since he is now dead. Bale asked that it stay in because he said that Ledger would want that.

I say Cut that shit out, have Joker just kind of dissapear abrubtly (like he arrives, very sudden) and then have him come back in the fourth, when they get a new director. Nolan doesnt want a fourth, he wants a trilogy but Bale and the others are signed for four films.

I say for the third, have Crime Boss Zucco sabotage the Haly Circus, ending in Dick Grayson's parents death. Batman Takes him in and begins a father son bond with him, like he missed from his childhood. Have Two Face back of course along with another villain, I'd assume Riddler(b/c I can't think of anyone else they'd want to have) Have Two Face connected in some way to the death od Grayson's parents, making him want revenge. Of course Batman begins teaching him his ways. Selina Kyle is introduced as Bruce's new love interest. At the very very end show Batman and Grayson flying through the air. I'd just make it sort of dark and I'd make Robin's suit more muted, similar to what they did with Superman Returns, so it looks more fitting.

For the Fourth, Bring back the Joker, but now he has Harley Quinn with him. It's 3-4 years after the third one and Dick Grayson has now become Dark Wing. We see this process through some flashbacks throughout.It would be neat to make a reference to how Superman is the one who gave Dick Grayson the idea for his name, Nightwing. Also Selina Kyle is now Catwomen, but of course Batman doesnt make this connection until later. Night Wing's costume is more fitting for Nolan's universe so we actually get to see him helping Batman out some, I would then say that Joker also has the help of another villain, maybe Talia, daughter of Ra's Al Ghul. Anyways just my take on things.

If Ledger's performance is as amazing as the early reviews suggest, nobody is going to want to touch it. That being said, if they did intend to have The Joker around for a third, then I think it would be a good idea to recast. But I don't see that happening, regardless of what the original plan was.

That TV Spot looks amazing!!!

If the joker survives in TDK and if the original plan was to have the joker in the third movie, then Nolan needs to bring the joker back. Whoever plays the joker would have HUGE shoes to fill. Johnny Depp is a good actor but he would play Sparrow in clown makeup. What about Leo DiCaprio????

I as well have recently watched the first Batman by Tim Burton, and found that without Micheal Keaton's persona it would've sucked. It really is boring, Jack Nicholsan is too much, and it's definitely not Tim Burton's best. But I will say this Bale Rocks but Keaton will always be the best. And am the only one that thinks Johnny Depp would've made the best joker in history?

Why the hell cant I get the Wizard trailer to buff? It stops at 10 seconds (sometimes at 3 seconds) and then just sits there and doesnt do anything. Ever. Can anyone who can get it to work tell me whats in it?

These clips are awsome! I can't wait to see the entire film! oh, The original Batman is a classic! Don't put the original Batman film down because of the new Batman Begins and Dark Knight, these are all fine films in their respective ways, Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns still rock! and are both classic films, just like Begins and Dark Knight will be in a few years.

Yeah, I stopped watching the online stuff for this movie a couple weeks ago so as not to spoil the movie for me. I felt I knew way too much going in to iron man & indy4, and don't want to make this mistake with TDK. But I'm weak, and therefore can help reading a new headline here or there.
And although I didn't like the prince songs in the original batman, I still say it's about a 8/...

movies seems great but I must be one of the very few who don't really like this take on the joker? performance looks great, but he seems more like a "psycho with a painted face" then the comic book elegant and older joker....I was hoping for a rendition of that joker with nolan's touch.

but still everything else has looked great so it doesnt matter....

Just because you spend your life online and see every "exclusive" clip the microsecond it comes out doesn't mean that normal folks who work 9-5 see it too. The studio is trying to secure the thirtysomething construction worker who only watches TV for two and a half hours starting at eight o'clock and ending when the poor SOB falls asleep on his couch's $9.50 too. Stop complaining.

@ JoBlo - LOL - that movie is pretty dated. Of course you could watch the ORIGINAL Batman flick with Caesar Romero and Burgess Meredith - then it wouldn't seem so lame. Well Kim's shoulderpads would still seem lame.

BTW does anyone notice Ledger sounds completely different in so many of the clips but says the same lines? Is this actually him or a voice actor mimicking him since he passed away and there was a rumor he wasn't done re-recording his lines? I just never heard the same lines said in so many different voices before.

I can't believe Nolan is letting so much footage out. I really wish they would slow down; if they were going to show so much they should have released the movie earlier. It's to tempting to wait any longer I can't remember a movie being this hyped so obviously no one will resist the clips and such.

no. i hate inundation under the guise of viral marketing. the film will do well, for certain, but i, like many, have come to feel that marketeering has gone much too far this time. i don't need to see almost 20 minutes of the film in all before i go and pay to see it. i am hooked. most of the country will see it because of its predecessor's success and/or because it's ledger's last hurrah ...
