New Serenity pics

Well, folks, Joss Whedon's sci fi extravaganza SERENITY is almost here and all signs point to it delivering a solid can of ass whupping when it opens. All the early screenings have been complete successes and the trailers have all been soh-weeet. All that's left is for the general public to decide whether they like the J-Whed in a two hour feature or in his master domain of episodic television. I don't really see any reason why it shouldn't do some decent business at the box office but a western sci fi isn't the easiest thing in the world to sell and hardcore "Firefly" Whedonites probably aren't enough to put up decent box office numbers.

All that's basically a long-winded way of saying that we recently received some new pics, which are great mostly because they feature the heart-stoppingly hot Summer Glau. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the cast is pretty too but that Summer Glau is just so goshdang beautiful, I'm having a hard time thinking straight right now. In any case, get ready for "the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's strikingly unique vision of the future" September 30th.
