Pacman pic Crystal Sky Studios, the production company behind the upcoming feature adaptations of hit video games TEKKEN and CASTLEVANIA also have a movie based on PACMAN in the works. Yeah, that Pacman. That yellow face that goes around a maze eating white dots and once in a while has to evade ghosts? He's getting the big screen treatment. The assumption here is that the movie will be CGI but in an interview video game site "Gamecloud" conducted with Crystal Studios CEO Steven Paul, he was very vague when asked about the movie. According to Paul, "the film will have a great broad appeal for all audiences, but it's still very early in development." Does that mean it might actually be live action? How do you even adapt PACMAN? Make him a hero having to save Mrs. Pacman (or Pac-girl?) from an evil trio of ghosts? Anybody have any ideas? What would your PACMAN story be? Check out the rest of the interview over HERE. Thanks to Matthew for bringing this to our attention.

Director
Now if we could only get a director that is as "visionary" and "groundbreaking" as this movie idea... perhaps Uwe Boll?

Sing if you like :-)
I got a pocket full of quarters,
and I'm headed to the arcade!
I don't have a lot of money,
but I'm bringing ev'rything I made.
I've got a callus on my finger,
and my shoulder's hurting too...
I'm gonna eat them all up,
just as soon as they turn blue!

It's a scientist named Harry Pac that goes around New York's "maze-like" urban sprawl in a yellow jumpsuit recovering the precious power pellets and uses them to defeat wild ghosts terrorizing the city. DUH.

I hate to say it, but I'd kinda look forward to this. I remember the old cartoon on TV, and it rocked!
