One of my most highly anticipated upcoming horror releases is TALES OF HALLOWEEN, an anthology film that has some incredible talent involved. Eleven directors were assembled to tell ten stories that will be

woven together by their shared theme of Halloween night in an American suburb, where ghouls, imps, aliens, and axe murderers appear for one night only to terrorize unsuspecting residents.

The stories and their directors are:

TRICK, directed by Adam Gierasch

BAD SEED, directed by Neil Marshall

GRIMM GRINNING GHOST, directed by Axelle Carolyn

THE WEAK AND THE WICKED, directed by Paul Solet

FRIDAY THE 31st, directed by Mike Mendez

THE RANSOM OF RUSTY REX, directed by Ryan Schifrin

THIS MEANS WAR, directed by Andrew Kasch and John Skipp

THE NIGHT BILLY RAISED HELL, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman

SWEET TOOTH, directed by Dave Parker

DING DONG, directed by Lucky McKee

The film stars the likes of Grace Phipps, Booboo Stewart, Adrienne Barbeau, Lin Shaye, Barry Bostwick, Sam Witwer, Greg Grunberg, John Landis, Joe Dante, Barbara Crampton, Pollyanna McIntosh, James Duval, Pat Healy, Adam Green, Alex Essoe, Stuart Gordon, Mick Garris, Marc Senter, Kristina Klebe, Keir Gilchrist, Clare Kramer, Jose Pablo Cantillo, John Savage, and Caroline Williams.

If all those names alone aren't enough to get you excited for this one, a trailer for the movie has now been made available and can be viewed below. It's short but sweet and packed with enticing imagery.

TALES OF HALLOWEEN will be doing the festival rounds for the next couple months, building up to a theatrical release on October 16th.
