100%

We're pleased to welcome you to our brand new web-series, Where It Was Made, in which we'll revisit the actual filming locations for some of the most popular films ever made and see how they're holding up today, all while examining just how these locations were used in the finished film. Our latest episode arrives just in time for All Hallow's Eve with a trip back to the locations of John Carpenter's 1978 classic, HALLOWEEN.

Join Ryan Cultrera, host and director of Where It Was Made, as he takes us back to Haddonfield, including Laurie's house, the high school, the hardware store, and that famous hedge bush. Enjoy!

I can't think of a better movie to start this new series with. This was really well done and nice to learn some new info and see some locations I don't think are shown in the docs out there. Great new column and I look forward to the next!

Great column. I was reading last night that the owners of the house that inspired The Conjuring were suing WB because of all the tourists that visit. They don't seem to have much of a case because The Conjuring didn't use the real house and didn't say where the exact location was of the real house. Still interesting though.

One of the best

Modern horror makers could learn a lot from Carpenter. The style, the suspense and no need for constant and over the top gore make this a great movie even to this day. Not to mention the haunting music. You feel like a helpless voyeur watching this.

That's a great way to describe this movie experience. A helpless voyeur.
