Get your first glimpse at TMNT 2 in new teaser; full trailer coming tomorrow

12.09.2015

I hope you're ready for another attempt at some live-action turtle power because Raphael (Alan Ritchson), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher), Leonardo (Pete Ploszek), and Donatello (Jeremy Howard) will be back for TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS along with April O'Neil (Megan Fox). Paramount will release the full trailer for TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS tomorrow, but in the meantime they've seen fit to release one of those teasers for the trailer that we just can't get enough of. God bless you, Paramount!

"This is gonna be good!"

Like many folks my age, I went through a period of being crazy for all things Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so it was with cautious optimism that I sat down to watch Jonathan Liebesman's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. While there were several moments of fun (if I'm being generous), the entire project ultimately felt devoid of passion and didn't seem to understand what made the turtles work. David Green (EARTH TO ECHO) has taken over the directors chair this time around and there's hope that the problems people had with the first film have been taken under consideration. Make sure to check back tomorrow for the full trailer for TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS!

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS flips into theaters on June 3, 2016.

The sequel does have Stephen Amell appearing as vigilante Casey Jones, I'll consider that a plus.

Just to see Bebop and Rocksteady FINALLY in film form, makes me excited. Wonder if Baxter will end up a fly mutant. I actually LOVED the turtles when they were on screen in the first movie, but Megan fox, the story, the Silver Samurai Shredder and sorry but Splinters voice, did nadda for me. Even though I thought the turtles are a bit too big, for teenagers in general, I liked how well they were together. So here's hoping they improve on story and hopefully dear Primus a Shredder that doesn't

Even though I thought the turtles are a bit too big, for teenagers in general, I liked how well they were together. So here's hoping they improve on story and hopefully dear Primus a Shredder that doesn't need all that robotic read. I mean, how freaking scary was the original movie Shredder? He kicked ass. Only Splinter could take him. That's what we need again. a REAL master of the Foot Clan that can hurt those turtles without an exo-suit.
So, full trailer is in fact online, just watched it. Not feeling Amell as Casey Jones and Bebop and Rocksteady, could be the low res vid, but they seemed under detailed and cartoonish. However, it looks pretty fun.
Vern: "Why aren't we with the turtles? When something bad happens we want to be with the turtles".

Ok. So I'll admit... I was one of the haters last year when The Turtles' look was revealed. I fuckin' hated it. Still do actually. But then I saw the movie and I realized... This movie wasn't made for me. It was made for a new generation of kids and that I sounded like a grandpa complaining. I have a daughter and been to enough kids birthday parties to see how much joy the new Turtles bring them; it's that same joy and excitement I felt as a kid with my 80s/90s Turtles. And that makes me happy.

And that makes me happy. That these creations from my childhood are mutually know loved for a new generation to come. I realized it'd be like a grandpa who grew up during the golden age of Superman and bitchin' about Man Of Steal. Now I know most of you would agree that the hypothetical grandpa in this scenario would have a right to bitch and with good cause but that's not the point. The point I'm trying to make is that even though this franchise isn't made for me... The first movie had enough winks, nods, and homages to MY Turtles that I could live with it. I might not like the new April O' Neil or the corny fuckin' outdated looks the brothers had but it was reminiscent enough of my beloved Turtles. It's never been about the look, it's about family, brotherhood, and their father/son relationship with Splinter. And that's something they kept sacred and intact for the new franchise. Anyway... I'm all for seeing Rocksteady and Bebop! Fuck yeah! Cowabunga!

Im all love for the turtles,I was slight hesitant about a remake but ultimately I understood that it was made with great respect and love to the core of what the turtles were. So I easily took a liking to it. My daughters and I can't wait for this. I'm glad to see some ppl being open minded to these turtles. Great post!

Well...

...I loved the 80s cartoon and the 90's movies (except #3). I was hesitant on watching this one because I hated TMNT (2007) movie, but I surprisingly enjoyed the new one. didn't love it. but liked it enough to show my little cousins and watching it a second time.
This sequel looks like it'll be better especially what moonrider listed in his comments.

Only thing that ruined this teaser... Megan Fox. Of course they have to over sexualize her too.

Normally I would give this a red or at best a black, but seeing all the cartoon inspired stuff like Baxter Stockman and the Turtle Van in action actually makes this movie interesting enough for me. The Turtles still look like crap but at least they look a bit more like warriors than douchebags now.

Garbage. This has nothing to do with the real Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
