Sharpen your claws on this official set photo for Marvel’s Black Panther

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Just mere days ago, Marvel's BLACK PANTHER was spotted while shooting a car chase scene in South Korea. To be honest, the photo was a little blurry and left much to be desired. Today, we've got a much better look at the action as Black Panther can be seen digging his razor-sharp claws into the roof of a blue Lexus while careening down a Busan, South Korean roadway.

Reportedly, the image released by Walt Disney Korea involved "some 150 cars and more than 700 people." The scene was then described as "a car chase scene with the protagonist and the villain. It will also involve helicopter(s) and guns (firing blanks) and may cause noise as well as traffic restrictions.”

Here's the photo, and be sure to click on it to embiggen the image!

I don't know about you, but I think the upcoming slate of Marvel films is looking mighty fine. We've got GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 landing in theaters on May 5, 2017, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING swinging into theaters on July 7, 2017, THOR: RAGNAROK touching down on the big screen on November 3, 2017, and then BLACK PANTHER on February 16, 2018! Excelsior indeed! It sure is a magnificent time to be a comic book geek (or someone who enjoys the hell out of big screen action)!

Marvel's BLACK PANTHER will be directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Florence Kasumba, Andy Serkis and many, many more!

Once again, BLACK PANTHER will claw its way into theaters on February 16, 2018
