American Horror Story: Apocalypse trailer brings about the end of the world

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Over the course of the previous seven seasons, American Horror Story has slowly begun weaving together their many characters and terrifying stories, but the upcoming eighth season, American Horror Story: Apocalypse, will be their biggest cross-over yet as it will be bringing together characters and events from both Murder House and Coven. Although you can certainly catch a familiar character or two, the majority of the new trailer for American Horror Story: Apocalypse is devoted to a group of new characters who find themselves at Outpost 3, a mysterious place run by Venable (Sarah Paulson). Due to the danger of radiation contamination from the outside world, leaving is strictly forbidden, as is "unauthorized copulation." No sex at the end of the world? No thanks.

In addition to Sarah Paulson, who will be appearing as three characters this season, American Horror Story: Apocalypse also stars Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, Joan Collins, Frances Conroy, and more! Toss in a handful of ghosts, witches, and possible Antichrist Michael Langdon (Cody Fern), who we last saw as a child at the end of Murder House, and you've got the makings of something quite bizarre. American Horror Story: Apocalypse will debut on FX on September 12th.
