Some brief casting notes for you to jot down:

Dermot Mulroney, recently seen in Park Chan-wook’s STOKER and Joe Carnahan’s THE GREY (pictured), has joined the cast of the erotic thriller CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, which stars Nick Jonas and Isabel Lucas. Mulroney will play the husband to Lucas’ character, a femme fatale.

CARE WHAT YOU WISH FOR is being directed by Elizabeth Allen from a script by Chris Frisina and Gregg Hurwitz.

Doug (Jonas) gets more than he bargained for when he starts having an affair with Lena (Lucas), the young wife of an investment banker renting the lake house next door for the summer. When a serious crime rocks their sleepy vacation town, Doug is let in on a devastating secret and suddenly finds himself a suspect.

Meanwhile, the Wachowski siblings’ JUPITER ASCENDING continues to stock up with thespians. An Aussie named Kick Gurry (yes, Kick) has boarded the sci-fi epic, which also stars Channing Tatum, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne and Mila Kunis. Gurry worked with the Wachowski’s on SPEED RACER, and will next be seen in Doug Liman’s ALL YOU NEED IS KILL.

Opening on July 25, 2014, JUPITER ASCENDING is about:

A Russian immigrant (Kunis) who possesses the same perfect genetic makeup as the Queen of the Universe and is therefore a threat to her otherwise immortal rule. A bounty hunter (Tatum) is dispatched to kill the immigrant, but instead ends up falling in love with her.
