Cool Videos: David Lynch’s video for Nine Inch Nails’ “Came Back Haunted” may give you seizures

Ah! My f*cking eyes!

Nine Inch Nails front-man Trent Reznor had wanted to work with David Lynch for years before they finally collaborated on the soundtrack for Lynch’s 1997 movie LOST HIGHWAY. Since then, NIN has had varying levels of success, gone on hiatus, and is now returning with a new album in the Fall. They just premiered a new song, “Came Back Haunted”, which Lynch directed the music video for.

David Lynch is not for everyone, but his short films are drastically more f*cked up than his feature films. The video for “Came Back Haunted” is no exception. On top of featuring bizarre and surreal imagery, the video also carries a warning for anyone with photo-sensitive epilepsy. I am not epileptic and even I found my eyes crossing at the flashing lights and heavy editing.

Check out the song as we wait for David Lynch‘s next project, whether it be his upcoming album or the rumored TWIN PEAKS revival on television.
