The Paranormal Network YouTube channel has a new treat for the visitors to its channel. Starting today and continuing on through every Friday, they’ll be posting a full movie, giving viewers the chance to watch them entirely free of charge. It’s much like what JoBlo Movies has going on with the Free Movie of the Day and Friday Fright Nights series. Now Paranormal Network is getting in on the action as well! The first movie to be released through the channel as part of this series is writer/director Carl Sundström’s 2017 found footage horror film Documenting the Witch Path, and you can watch the movie over on the YouTube channel linked above, or you can just watch it in the embed at the top of this article.

Documenting the Witch Path stands out from the found footage pack due to the fact that it was made in Sweden. The film is a documentary that tests the limits of three young filmmakers. They find out about a place called the Witch Path that leads out to the lake known as the Witch Lake. It’s where they drowned innocent women in the 17th century because they were accused of witchery. All because the people blindly listened to the priests. Nowadays, the path and the lake are closed off by the township. No one wants to answer why, but these filmmakers will find out the horrifying truth about it.

Sundström stars alongside Nathaniel P. Erlandsson and Robin Franzén.

This was Sundström’s feature directorial debut. Since making Documenting the Witch Path, he has gone on to make another found footage horror movie called Reportage November. That one was released in 2020.
