The Ridley Scott-produced found footage alien movie PHOENIX FORGOTTEN is one of my most anticipated upcoming fright flicks. No joke. I love found footage and I think there has been too much of a shortage in that subgenre's department the last few years. I know I may be alone in wishing for more found footage films, but it's true.

With this in mind, yes, I'm counting down the days until PHOENIX FORGOTTEN gets released on April 21st. Until then we here at AITH were just sent an all-new clip from the upcoming thriller.

PHOENIX FORGOTTEN synopsis:

Three teens who go into the desert shortly after the incident, hoping to document the strange events occurring in their town. They disappear that night, and are never seen again.  Now, on the twentieth anniversary of their disappearance, unseen footage has finally been discovered, chronicling the final hours of their fateful expedition. For the first time ever, the truth will be revealed…

Based on the shocking, true events of March 13th, 1997, when several mysterious lights appeared over Phoenix, Arizona. This unprecedented and inexplicable phenomenon became known as "The Phoenix Lights", and remains the most famous and widely viewed UFO sighting in history.

PHOENIX FORGOTTEN is directed by Justin Barber from a script by T.S. Nowlin and Justin Barber and stars Florence Hartigan, Chelsea Lopez (see below), Justin Matthews, and Luke Spencer Roberts.

PHOENIX FORGOTTEN hits theaters Friday, April 21st.
