Greg Kinnear co-stars in Steven Yeun episode of The Twilight Zone

Greg Kinnear

A few days ago, we learned that actor Steven Yeun, best known for playing Glenn Rhee on AMC's The Walking Dead, would be starring in an episode of the CBS All Access revival of the classic anthology series The Twilight Zone. Yeun will be playing the title character in an episode called The Traveler, which is about

two cops and a mysterious traveler.

It has since been announced that one of Yeun's co-stars will be Greg Kinnear, who recently appeared on our radar here at Arrow in the Head because he was in talks to star in an eight-part television "contemporary re-imagining" of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds.

Details on Kinnear's The Traveler character haven't been revealed, but maybe he's playing one of those two police officers.

This new version of The Twilight Zone is being hosted and narrated by GET OUT writer/director Jordan Peele. The first season is set to consist of 10 episodes.

Other than Yeun and Kinnear starring in The Traveler, we know that Sanaa Lathan is in an episode titled Rewind, Adam Scott stars Nightmare at 30,000 Feet, a remake of the classic Twilight Zone story Nightmare at 20,000 Feet; Jacob Tremblay, Erica Tremblay, John Cho, and Allison Tolman are in an episode called The Wunderkind, about a child President; and Kumail Nanjiani is in an unspecified episode.

Casting is currently underway on an episode called Last Shuttle, about

a group of astronauts dealing with a crisis.

The Twilight Zone is being produced by Peele's company Monkeypaw, Simon Kinberg's Genre Films, and CBS Television Studios. Peele and Kinberg are executive producing the show with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Rick Berg, Marco Ramirez, Greg Yaitanes, and Carol Serling.
