Inside directors Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury set up their next project

Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, the two wild Frenchmen behind INSIDE and LIVIDE, have set up their next project with SND, the distribution-sales-production arm of France’s M6 Group: AMONG THE LIVING (AUX YEUX DES VIVANTS).

AMONG THE LIVING focuses on three youngsters who skip school, wander around an abandoned amusement park and suddenly see a woman in chains being dragged through a field by a man in a clown’s mask. Worse still, the masked man catches a glimpse of the boys.

Flick stars Chloe Coulloud (also from LIVIDE), Lannick Gautry, Francis Renaud and Beatrice Dalle, who made such a memorable impression as a psychotic woman bent on revenge in the duo’s INSIDE.

Shooting on AMONG THE LIVING commences in Spring 2013. Jean-Pierre Putters, Caroline Piras and Fabrice Lambot at Metalune Productions will co-produce alongside SND.

Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on Dimension to release LIVIDE here in the states after they acquired it last summer; should only be another two or three years…
