Jessica Chastain is an assassin on the run in trailer for Ava

Sooner or later, it seems that every actor gets their very own assassin-themed action-thriller, and it looks like Jessica Chastain is the next at bat. Vertical Entertainment has released the first trailer for AVA, formally titled EVE, an action-thriller directed by Tate Taylor (THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN) which finds Chastain starring as a deadly assassin who works for a black ops organization traveling the globe specializing in high-profile hits. When a job goes dangerously wrong, as tends to happen in these scenarios, Ava is forced to fight for her very survival.

Be warned, the trailer for AVA appears to be one of those which could very well spell out the entire movie. In addition to Jessica Chastain (IT: CHAPTER TWO), AVA also stars Colin Farrell (THE GENTLEMEN), John Malkovich (VELVET BUZZSAW), Common (THE KITCHEN), Geena Davis (GLOW), and Ioan Gruffudd (THE PROFESSOR AND THE MADMAN).
