Ben Affleck may be a part of the DCEU as Bruce Wayne/Batman, but that doesn't mean he can't sing the praises of Marvel boss, Kevin Feige. In a new interview with "The Hollywood Reporter", Affleck goes as far as to say that he's the greatest producer who has ever lived.

"F***ing Kevin Feige is absolutely, you have to say, the greatest producer, most successful producer who ever lived. He's the only guy in the world who, if he told me, 'I know what the audience wants! This is what we're doing!' I would believe him 100%."

Kevin Feige is certainly good at his job. I don't think I have it on authority to call him the greatest producer who has ever lived but there is no denying the great work he has done with Marvel. Even if there have been a few missteps within the MCU, I would say his successes more than redeem any of them. Affleck continues to praise Feige and insists that he's a producer that truly knows his audience:

"That f***er knows his audience like no producer (ever), he's a genius. Kevin is like a ringmaster at the circus, he knows exactly how much to wink at the audience, exactly when to pull at the heartstrings, exactly when to do the effects, how many jokes, what the sensibility, what the tone is. Because people didn't know to run away from the pajamas or embrace it, or make it serious."

Perhaps Ben Affleck is setting himself up for a better Marvel job. The actor once dabbled with Marvel back in 2003 when he starred in Daredevil as the titular character. The film once really well-received and it arrived a few years before the MCU really kicked off with 2008's Iron Man. Affleck didn't abandon comic book films and would eventually take on the Batman mantle in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Justice League. While it appeared he was done with the character, he will reportedly appear in the upcoming The Flash film as well. Maybe when his time is done with the DCEU, he can link up with Kevin Feige on a future project.
