Cool Videos: Impressive Lego trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I love me some Legos, and I'm very excited to see THE LEGO MOVIE, but until it hits theaters, this great Lego-style trailer for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will have to do. Youtube user Kristo499 used Legos to create a frame by frame remake of the trailer for Matt Reeves' upcoming film, and in my opinion, he did a fantastic job. Why did he do one for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES? No clue, but you can tell a lot of time was spent creating this trailer.

Sure the original trailer didn't have a lot of action, so it's probably a little easier to do a Lego trailer for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES than say THE RAID 2, but I think the trailer below is pretty awesome. I've also included the original trailer for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES so you'll be able to compare the two.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will be in theaters on July 11th, 2014.
