We interview The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty and more!

THE BOYS are back for another round of superhero mayhem! The Amazon series, based on the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, returns on September 4th, and to help prepare you for what is sure to top the insanity of Season One (not easily done), Amazon held a virtual junket with a large portion of the cast and the showrunner. Lots of folks to talk to, so let's get moving!

First, here's what you can expect from THE BOYS Season 2:

The even more intense, more insane Season 2 finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation's paranoia.

First interview up is with Karl Urban and Laz Alonso, who play Billy Butcher and his trusted best pal Mother's Milk, respectively. Those two characters have been through an awful lot together, and it figures they'll be back to trying to save the world once again imminently. We talked about where Billy's head is at as we open the season and how is reunion with The Boys will go once he gets back to business.

Next up: Jack Quaid (Hughie) and Erin Moriarty (Annie/Starlight). While the two characters had their fun together last season, the way things ended between them left their relationship up in the air. Can Hughie and Annie make it work now that all of their cards are on the table? Jack, Erin, and myself discuss that, as well as how much of a leader Hughie is going to be this season, and how Starlight feels about the way she's been marketed to the world.

Finally, we have Chace Crawford and Jessie T. Usher, who play The Deep and A-Train, respectively. Honestly, these were two of my favorite characters last season, and based on the first episode of Season Two, that won't change this year. Both actors talk about the existential crises their Supes are going through, as well as if we're ever going to get a look at The Deep's memoirs, and how A-Train is going to get along with Starlight after their fateful battle during the season finale.
