Robert Downey Jr. Sells Horror Comedy Cloaked to Warner Bros.

Is there anything Robert Downey Jr. can’t do?  When the dude not taking awesome pictures on the set of THE AVENGERS 2, he’s busy elsewhere developing and selling movies, like a boss. According to Deadline, the in-demand actor and his wife/producing partner Susan Downey have sold an original horror comedy pitch to Warner Bros. called CLOAKED. The flick is described as “a supernatural horror comedy in the vein of An American Werewolf in London” and will attempt that balance between laughs and screams.

Derek Connolly (SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED, JURASSIC WORLD) is reportedly writing the script, with Downey and his wife producing under their Team Downey shingle. It's not currently known if Downey Jr. will star in the film but I think I speak for the entire class when I say, please star in this film Robert Downey Jr. The talent he possesses has become something of a cliché in recent years; he’s that good that it’s now expected and unsurprising to see him shine at everything he does. I bet if you asked him to help you build a sand castle, you’d have yourself a new vacation home on the beach for life.

While we wait for CLOAKED, we know that the first Warner Bros. and Team Downey project is the upcoming movie THE JUDGE opening October 10, 2014. And he's still currently filming Marvel's THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON due out on May 1st 2015.
