It's officially Movember, folks! You know, that magical time of the year when people grow mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. It's a festive time for facial hair indeed, and DEADPOOL actor Ryan Reynolds is here to celebrate! As part of a new Movember-themed promo video for his Aviation Gin label, Reynolds took a superpowered shot at one of the most infamous cookie-dusters of recent memory … Henry Cavill's JUSTICE LEAGUE whiskers. That's right, stache-gate hath returned!

“Does drinking Aviation Gin make you feel like a superhero?” says a mustachioed Reynolds before taking a swig from a Moscow Mule-style cup. “I wouldn’t know,” He continues after downing a portion of his cocktail to reveal that his facial hair has been digitally removed by the powers of technology.

You can watch the advert below:

As the story goes, Cavill filmed portions of his JUSTICE LEAGUE role before going off to shoot MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT. In the Tom Cruise-led action blockbuster, Cavill's August Walker is seen sporting a mighty mustache, a soup-strainer that then had to be digitally removed for the sake of JUSTICE LEAGUE reshoots with director Joss Whedon. Despite the JUSTICE LEAGUE effects team trying their damnedest to remove Cavill's face furniture, countless moviegoers were left feeling disturbed by their efforts. In time, mustache-gate became a hot topic around office water coolers and meme generators everywhere.

“If I was ever going to grow a mustache, it would have to be a world-changing mustache, and I’m glad it was,” Cavill once explained to Entertainment Weekly“I’ve put up with that thing for a year, I’ve learned to love it and now I miss it. I’m glad it got so much in the way of media attention and everything because if I ever grow a mustache again, I can look back and know that I can find so much in the way of videos and memes and Instagram posts, whatever it may be just to remind me of what it was like.”

Man, just when Cavill thought that mustache-gate was finally over, Reynolds went ahead and has pulled him right back in. Enjoy your Movember, folks! Even if you're Henry Cavill, who in his defense, can grow one hell of a dirt squirrel.
