Well, it seems the girls behind the Comedy Central show BROAD CITY are now branching out into making features with their new comedy ROUGH NIGHT (formerly ROCK THAT BODY). And they've brought along an impressive cast with them! The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Zoe Kravitz, and BROAD CITY co-star Ilana Glazer.
It also looks like Sony has released a new trailer for the film, so let's see how it all turned out:
…well, that got dark and interesting fast. What started out as the prelude to a "HANGOVER, but with girls" flick (which would've been fine, I suppose) quickly became about covering up a murder instead. That immediately got my attention. However, I shouldn't have been surprised, as BROAD CITY is a great show, and since they're behind the script (and one of the main girls stars in it), I should have seen a zag like that coming. I love me some dark comedies, so this is definitely on my radar now.

In Rough Night, an edgy R-rated comedy, five best friends from college reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper. Amidst the craziness of trying to cover it up, they're ultimately brought closer together when it matters most.
