This Gallows clip will invade your privacy

In anticipation for their new found footage ghost feature from directors Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing, THE GALLOWS, Blumhouse has released another clip. When a group of friends decides to pull a prank in the bathroom stalls, they get an unpleasant surprise in return.

So far, I've been an outspoken proponent of THE GALLOWS, but even I think this clip is a little silly. I mean, really? A ghost attack in a brightly lit school bathroom? I promise you, there are far more terrifying things in that room than some undead spirit. Check it out below and see for yourself.

Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honour the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.

THE GALLOWS, starring Cassidy Gifford, Pfeifer Brown, and Ryan Shoos, opens July 10th in the U.S., July 17th in the U.K.
