Titans: Season 3 trailer teases Scarecrow, Red Hood, Barbara Gordon & more

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

HBO Max's Titans has unleashed a new trailer for Season 3 that promises a series of dark events to come.

Following the events of Season 2, Curran Walter’s Robin embraces his inner demons and assumes a deadly new persona, Red Hood. Haunted by his past, Red Hood looks to wage war on Gotham, and he'll put a bullet through anyone that stands in his way. Helping the Titans to quell Red Hood's rage is Savannah Welch’s Commissioner Barbara Gordon, who has taken the position for her father. But what's a plan to combat evil without consulting evil itself, right? In the new season, Barbara consults Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow (Vincent Kartheiser) for help. Is this a wise decision? Probably not, considering that he deals in exploiting people's worst fears and phobias. Desperation can be a hell of a thing, I suppose.

There's a whole lot more threatening the Titans in the upcoming season, and I'm not talking about flesh-and-blood villains. I'm talking about dysfunctional team dynamics, an unstable Gotham City, and Batman hanging up his cape. Can they become the heroes Gotham needs to survive the oncoming onslaught of evil? I certainly hope so.

Titans Season 3 will debut Thursday, August 12. New episodes will arrive every Thursday through October 21 on HBO Max.
