Trailer unleashed for supernatural horror film The Dead Ones

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

There's nothing more elemental in the horror genre than teens being stalked and killed by supernatural threats, whether it's HALLOWEEN, FRIDAY THE 13th, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET…you name it. With that, it sometimes is hard to stand out, but the new trailer for the supernatural thriller THE DEAD ONES looks like a contender, as well as a bloody good time (literally!) While obviously low-budget, it seems like a lot of care was put into the make-up effects (always a plus!) with some truly visceral and gory visuals.

Here's the synopsis:

For four outcast teens, summer detention means being assigned to clean their high school after a horrific incident. But they are not alone; a macabre gang wearing guises of The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse – Famine, Pestilence, War and Death – has locked them inside and is hunting them through the school's ravaged hallways. As the four students battle to survive, each must confront the supernatural echoes of past traumas they have struggled to forget – and may be condemned to relive.

THE DEAD ONES, directed by Jeremy Kasten and starring Sarah Rose Harper, Brandon Thane Wilson, and Katie Foster doesn't have a release date but is hoping to come out this year.
