We’re streaming Kind Words and Little Misfortune live on Twitch tonight!

After taking the past several weeks to highlight a number of blockbuster video game releases on our JoBlo Games Twitch Channel, we've decided to dip our toes into the Indie pool for tonight's stream. As such, JoBlo's own Bobby Shortle will be exploring LITTLE MISFORTUNE and KIND WORDS (LO FI CHILL BEATS TO WRITE TO) as a part of tonight's festivities.

Published by Killmonday Games AB, LITTLE MISFORTUNE is a single-player adventure game geared toward those who enjoy horror as well as a bit of mystery. The game boasts an incredibly cool storybook-style presentation, featuring a color palette that travels all throughout the known spectrum.

Led by her new friend, Mr. Voice, Misfortune ventures into the woods, where mysteries are unraveled and a little bad luck unfolds.

Curse you, Bobby! I wish I were playing this for everybody tonight. But it's no matter. I'll likely be busy collecting the final trophy for Remedy's CONTROL, which is without a doubt my favorite new game of 2019, so far. I might play BORDERLANDS 3 as well, though if I'm being completely honest, I am woefully unimpressed with that title thus far.

But I digress …

Time permitting, Bobby will also be checking out KIND WORDS (LO FI CHILL BEATS TO WRITE TO), an emotionally-charged and quirky letter writing game from developer Popcannibal.

So far, word of mouth has both games sounding pretty unique and engaging. Personally, I like the look of both titles, and might find myself purchasing them in the near future. After all, sometimes you simply want to play games to relax, and not have to worry about racing against a ticking clock before the whole planet goes to hell in a handbasket, amiright? Just like comics, video games are for everyone, and it takes all kinds to make the medium go round.
