We’re streaming Remedy’s action-shooter Control live on Twitch tonight!

One of this year's most-anticipated video game releases, CONTROL, has finally arrived, and tonight, our own Bobby Shortle will be steaming it live on Twitch!

Hailing from the makers of games like MAX PAYNE, ALAN WAKE and QUANTUM BREAK comes Remedy Entertainment's newest third-person action shooter, CONTROL. In the game, you play as Jesse Faden, the Federal Bureau of Control's new director. The FBC is a secret U.S. government agency tasked with containing and studying phenomena which violate the laws of reality. As director, Jesse's mission is to use her powerful abilities to solve a murderous mystery perpetrated by a deadly enemy known as the Hiss.

After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control.

From developer Remedy Entertainment, this supernatural 3rd person action-adventure will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.

Control is Jesse Faden’s story and her personal search for answers as she grows into the role of the Director. The world of Control has its own story, as do the allies Jesse meets along the way. Jesse works with other Bureau agents and discovers strange experiments and secrets.

Having played the first hour of CONTROL myself, earlier this morning, I can tell you from first-hand experience that this game is strange in all the right places. It's a little Stephen King mixed with TWIN PEAKS. It's QUANTUM BREAK with a supernatural twist. It's a techno-thriller with a brave and curious protagonist. I personally can't wait to dig into it later this evening, and I'm sure that Bobby will have a blast while playing it as well.
