Hocus Pocus 2

Double, double, toil and trouble indeed! A Texas woman is claiming that Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2 will “unleash hell” on your house–and it’s not because of the outdated flash mob sequence. She is warning families that fire and brimstone could reign down if you dare watch the new Disney movie.

“Do not watch this film,” she warns. “Everybody thinks it’s fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen into your home.”

“A worst case scenario is: you unleash hell on your kids and in your home.” Considering Hocus Pocus 2 set a record for the most-watched Disney+ premiere ever–based on numbers of hours streamed after its first three days of release–it now seems likely that this Halloween season will set its own record of hellish kids running around town doing…uh, witchy stuff? You know, if this lady from Texas is to be believed.

The plot of Hocus Pocus 2, according to the wacky Texas lady: “The whole movie is based on witches harvesting children for blood sacrifices.”

The plot of Hocus Pocus 2, courtesy of Disney: “It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge…Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”

Nice PR spin, Disney! We’re also assuming the Texas mom didn’t put in a bid to stay at the Sanderson Sisters cottage

Did you see Hocus Pocus 2? Have you noticed any strange behavior from your kids and within your household? If you’re not under the spell of a fictional trio of witches, let us know in the comments below!
