Zach Galligan locked in an adaptation of Brian Keene’s The Cage

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Zach Galligan (GREMLINS, WAXWORX, HATCHET III) has announced via Twitter that he’s starring in an adaptation of Brian Keene’s THE CAGE. Production on the film kicks off production in February under the direction of Jon D. Wagner (recently a producer on the festival hit CHEAP THRILLS).

Galligan also helpfully let us know that Damian Maffei, Hannah Fierman (V/H/S – “I like you”) and Megan Duffy (MANIAC) will be co-starring in the film.

Here’s the book’s synopsis:

For the employees of Big Bill’s Home Electronics, it’s just the end of another long workday-until a gunman bursts into the store and begins shooting. Now, with some of their co-workers dead, the hostages are disappearing one-by-one, and if they want to survive the night, they’ll have to escape… THE CAGE.

Below you’ll find a promo poster for THE CAGE that was also provided by Galligan. Thanks Zach!
