AMC's upcoming spinoff Better Call Saul will chronicle aspiring attorney Jimmy McGill's transformation into the slimy lawyer of Breaking Bad. Many of us are holding our breath in anticipation for what we hope to be a dark, funny, and original offering from the talent that brought us one of TVs best drama of all time. The network as now set AMC set a premiere date and released a brand new teaser trailer.

The hour-long series premiere will debut on Sunday, February 8th at 10pm but then a second episode (hell yeah!) will air the next night, February 9th at 10pm. It will then stay on Monday nights to finish up it’s 10-episode first season.

Tingle Fingers:

Whether this show is a success or not, we can find solace in knowing that the Breaking Bad legacy won’t be tarnished in any way. It may have been if it was still on the air mind you, but it's over and safe in my opinion. Keep in mind this is coming from the guy who thinks there are only three STAR WARS movies; I love to live in denial. This series will stand alone and hopefully find its own following; initially envisioned as a half-hour comedy, Bob Odenkirk recently described it as “85% drama and 15% comedy”. I can’t wait for this one.
