Cool Videos: This Blade Runner trailer as a 1940s noir film is brilliant

BLADE RUNNER is one of the leading examples of neo-noir, so this re-imagined trailer for the 1982 film as a 1940s noir is very fitting. Created by Youtube user Chet Desmond, the trailer features all the staples of a classic 40's noir film, and is quite beautiful. The trailer is in black and white and uses the old-timey song "One More Kiss, Dear," which also appears in Ridley Scott's film. To be honest, I wish there was a full black and white version of the movie. I'd take that over a sequel any day. It's a great video in my opinion, and I think many of you will enjoy this 1940s version of BLADE RUNNER.

That was pretty damn awesome!

I thought it was going to be cheesy, but it made me want to watch Blade Runner again. Without the clunky voice overs, though.

If you really want a black and white version of Blade Runner, just turn the colour saturation all the way down on your TV.

Dont agree with Ridley Scotts vision of Deckard being a replicant. It doesnt make sense for the movie and it certainly negates the point of the movie.
