AMC Preacher TV

Based upon the comic series of the same name created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Preacher had all the ingredients it needed to turn into something very special, and although there were definitely highlights to be found in the series' first season, I found it to be a bit of a disappointment. That said, I'm still interested in checking out the upcoming second season of Preacher, especially now that The Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish) will have a bit of a larger role this time around.

AMC announced today that the second season of Preacher will premiere on June 19, 2017. The thirteen-episode season will find "West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), his ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga), and Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) heading out on a road trip to find god, and in the process end up in a battle between heaven and hell." Also released were six new photos which give us our first glimpse at the upcoming season.

Will you be returning for another season of Preacher on June 19th?
