Kevin Hart sells out football stadium with his comedy in What Now? trailer

When it comes to stand-up comedy, Kevin Hart is on a level all by himself right now. Say what you want about some of the movie roles he may have taken in the last few years, but the guy has built himself an incredible following with his stand-up act that is tough to match by others in the game right now. He has a third stand-up film, WHAT NOW?, hitting theaters later this year following on the heels of LAUGH AT MY PAIN and LET ME EXPLAIN, which capitalized on his growing popularity.

Hart's star has never been higher, explaining why Universal wants their taste of his stand-up pie, and they're hoping to ride this latest movie, which features the comedian selling out a football stadium with his act, to dollar bills at the box office. I don't anticipate them running into trouble on that front.

There's a greater spectacle to this show than we've gotten from one of Hart's stand-up films before, and, at this early stage of the game, Universal doesn't want to give away any of the jokes they'd like you to pay for later. But, in terms of letting you know he's got something on the way this year just in time for the RIDE ALONG 2 audience to take notice, they're doing exactly what they're supposed to do.

KEVIN HART: WHAT NOW? hopes to stir up laughs in theaters on October 14.

Now it makes sense. When I saw him two weeks ago do this act, they were walking the aisles during the whole performance checking to see that no one even got their cell phone out (distracting at times and actually took away from the act slightly). If you took it out you were kicked out no questions asked. There were signs everywhere about no cell phones allowed and we were given a slip of paper about it when we paid for parking. Definitely overkill but if he's releasing this movie I get it

I went through a similar thing when I saw Aziz Ansari last year in DC. They were insane with the cell phone rule. A few months later, he had a Netflix special that included every joke we heard at our show. Makes sense now. Aziz did take a moment at the beginning of his show to do poses for the crowd to get their need for photos out of their system. Pretty cool.

I admit Hart is funny but he can be very irritating sometimes.
