I checked out of professional wrestling sometime around Wrestlemania III so I’m not all that familiar with John Cena (personally I like my wrestlers a little more flamboyant). Cena is looking to be the next Rock-like wrestler/actor crossover and after giving movies a try in THE MARINE is back with another cookie cutter action flick, 12 ROUNDS.
In this movie Cena plays a cop. Cars crash. Things explode. His wife is in peril. There’s a brilliant killer. You know, it’s one of those kinds of movies. Which, to be honest, isn’t necessarily a bad thing if it’s pulled off well. This movie looks like SAW meets DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. Check out the new trailer for the film below…
