When our site reviewed EXCISION at the Sundance Film Festival, it was a positive one. And that positivity lead to it being the key blurb in the new red band trailer for the independent horror film.

PLOT: Pauline (AnnaLynne McCord) is a high-school outcast with two things on her mind: losing her virginity to school stud Adam (Jeremy Sumpter), and perfecting her do-it-yourself organ transplantation system in time to operate in her Cystic-Fibrosis affected sister. Ya know, just like your average sixteen year-old.

Watching the trailer, I had to keep asking myself if the main character was the chick from NIP/TUCK and 90210, and it turned out it was AnnaLynne McCord. When she is all dolled up and sexy, she looks like a poor man’s Charlize Theron. But, in EXCISION, she appears truly frightening. This movie comes across as potentially being the “HEATHERS meets Cronenberg” that it has been touted to be.

There is no release date for EXCISION, but we will keep you posted as to when you can witness the bizarre horror in all it’s glory.
