So this is pretty cool! Concept artist Jared Krichevsky just shared on Instagram one of his initial concept designs for the terrifying robotic monstrosity that is the one and only Mechagodzilla from the film Godzilla vs. Kong!
And, as you can see below, it's not much different than the design director Adam Wingard ended up using, other than being a bit more chonky than the big boy ended up being on the big screen. Either way, check it out!
So what do you guys think? Would've preferred this – admittedly slightly different – design? Either way, sound off below!
Meanwhile, Godzilla vs. Kong – starring Giant Lizard and Big Monke – is currently bashing into theaters and HBO Max as we speak! Here's the official synopsis:
Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. Along for the ride is Jia, an orphaned girl who has a unique and powerful bond with the mighty beast. However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe.
