#Like: trailer for revenge horror thriller stalks online

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

A new, intense trailer has been unleashed for the internet-based revenge horror-thriller #Like, which you can watch at the top of the article! Honestly, I think cyberbullying and the relatively unregulated digital space of social media and image boards (actually, are those still a thing? I'm getting old…) are ripe for horror/thriller potential, especially with constant real stories of doxxing, stalking, and radicalization that we've seen recently. Let's just hope #Like can utilize that potential – but at least the trailer itself looks promising!

Here is the official synopsis:

Woodstock teen Rosie (Sarah Rich) is mourning the first anniversary of her younger sister Amelia’s death, when she discovers that the mysterious man (Marc Menchaca, ALONE, “The Outsider”) who sexploited and bullied her sister into committing suicide, is back online trolling for new victims. After the authorities refuse to get involved, Rosie discovers a darker side she never knew she had as she takes justice into her own hands.

Meanwhile, #Like – directed by Sarah Pirozek and starring Sarah Rich and Marc Menchaca – will be be available on TVOD January 26, 2021 on iTunes, Amazon Prime, Vudu, FandangoNow, and Microsoft Store!

So what do you guys think? And what are your favorite horror movies about social media (which is becoming a new burgeoning subgenre)? Either way, sound off below!
