What’s up, Cumberbitches?!

To all of you ladies and gentlemen, you may feel a little saddened to hear that those rumors about Benedict Cumberbatch taking a role in STAR WARS: EPISODE VII are just rumors. While promoting THE FIFTH ESTATE, the actor told Access Hollywood this:
“This is the simple truth. J.J. [Abrams] and I have worked together before. I would love to work with him again. No offer has been made. That is that. And that is that.”
That is that. While he would make a nice addition to any STAR WARS film, do you think that Abrams would want him for both franchises? Also, would they want to make him another bad guy? I know, we’ve done the “is he or isn’t he?” dance with casting Cumberbatch in a sci-fi film before but for now we have to squash this one until something more official comes up.
