She-Hulk: Tatiana Maslany talks possibly making an appearance in Daredevil: Born Again

SPOILERS FOR SHE-HULK BELOW

The Disney+ show from Marvel Studios has garnered a lot of attention, both positively and negatively. A lot was by design, and some seem to be strong reactions to some harmless comedy scenes that didn’t land. She-Hulk is a less traditional kind of Marvel product and more of a quirky lawyer show with superhero action. The show featured many surprising crossovers. One of great note was the return of Daredevil after the Netflix show had been canceled, and now the character is back in the caring hands of his home brand. She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about the big season finale of the show when she was asked if she will be involved in the comeback show for Matt Murdock, Daredevil: Born Again, and had this to say,

I keep texting him being like, ‘Am I required for set today?’ And he says, ‘We’ll let you know by lunch.’ But he just keeps putting it off. I’ve been waiting outside the set in my She-Hulk costume, so just put me in, coach.”

She-Hulk’s Jen Walters and Matt Murdock had hit it off in the penultimate episode when The Man Without Fear made an anticipated return. The characters had debates on privacy as superheroes in the public eye. An argument that echoes that of the Sokovia Accords from Captain America: Civil War, where the debate was about superhero responsibility.

Maslany looks to be eager to return and reunite with Daredevil’s Charlie Cox as the Hollywood Reporter interviewer added that they would be speaking with Cox in the near future, and Maslany welcomed their offer to apply pressure to write in Jen’s return. And again, at the end of the interview, when being congratulated on the season, she re-emphasized, “Let Charlie know I’m ready!”

Season one of She-Hulk is currently available on Disney+, and Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to debut in the Spring of 2024.
