Last month the first teaser for ANNABELLE hit, showcasing one very creepy doll. New Line Cinema decided to drop a trailer featuring a larger view of what the film has to offer, and that’s exactly what you get here. As the story goes, a loving household is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who evidently conjure an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now…Annabelle.
While I still haven’t gotten around to seeing THE CONJURING, ANNABELLE looks to conjure up some decent scares. As it usually does, it’ll all come down to whether or not we feel for the characters here. I unfortunately can’t say whether or not that’ll be the case from this trailer, but I imagine this flick will satiate evil doll fetishists of all ages.
ANNABELLE, starring Annabelle Wallis, Alfre Woodard, Ward Horton, and Brian Howe, will be unleashed on October 3, 2014.
