The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Fear not, ladies, Brad Pitt hasn't gone off the deep end and shaved his head. He's merely wearing a bald cap for THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, the romantic dramedy he's currently filming under long-time director pal David Fincher. Based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story of the same name, in it, Pitt stars as a middle-aged man who falls in love with a thirty-year old woman (played by Cate Blanchett) and then finds himself aging backwards. Hilarity and hijinks? Oh, they ensue, baby! Check out a bigger version of Q-Ball Pitt over HERE. Incidentally, the bald cap isn't the only make-up/prosthetic he wears in the film. Since he starts off as a 50-plus year-old man, he also wears aging make-up and you can take a gander at Geezer Pitt over HERE. The film is tentatively scheduled for a May 2008 release.

Extra Tidbit: The film will make use of the motion capture system called The Contour System for Pitt's aging effects.

wow
this is such a surprise to me seeing a picture AS PROOF! that this movie is actually being made! for a while it's been on the "filmography" of David Fincher, but never in production - i'm glad fincher is not waiting a few years in between after Zodiac to do this and actually starts workin on this one! great stuff!

Man it's good to see that this film has actually made it into production. For awhile there I thought it was never gonna see the light of day.

I'm extremely amped for this and I'm looking forward to seeing how Fincher approaches the material as it's very different to what he's done before.

Woah that sound very interesting. Can't wait to see the final outcome of the movie. David is great.

and darkface, i don't think revealing what kind of make up they used will tell us the story and ruin it.

Cool
My uncle is the prosthetic and makeup effects person for this movie. He just went to New Orleans too. These photo people are fast!
Anyways, I saw a lot of the makeup effects that will be used in the film. I don't want to ruin the movie so I won't mention what they were.
