Willis wants it raw!

This has to be bad news. Actually, the fact that the studio has decided to gone with a PG-13 rated LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD instead of an R, has to be some of the worst news I’ve heard all week. Willis seems to be livid over the fact that this was the call too. Here’s what he said in Vanity Fair:

“I really wanted this one to live up to the promise of the first one, which I always thought was the only really good one,” Willis told Vanity Fair. “That’s a studio decision that is becoming more and more common, because they’re trying to reach a broader audience. It seems almost a courageous move to give a picture an R rating these days. But we still made a pretty hardcore, smashmouth film.’

I was going to say that I have absolutely no idea why this was done, but in truth I do have an idea, and that idea is money. It is still in no way a justification though, Jesus it’s DIE HARD! This is one of the only movie franchises that should be guaranteeing violence! He should be head-butting nuns and stuff! I don’t know what to say that isn’t terribly obvious here, nobody wants this. ARGH!
