RENEGADES follows a team of Navy SEALs on assignment in war-torn Europe who discover a treasure of gold at the bottom of a lake – rumored to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. In an effort to help the locals, they go rogue and engineer a heist to retrieve the gold and return it to its rightful owners. Check out the zany war antics with the following trailer!
I'm not a betting man, but I'd say that J.K. Simmons only has one or two scenes in this movie, judging by the trailer. Still, despite have no knowledge or interest going into this thing, the action looks pretty adequate for a "no-name" film. Luc Besson is known to put some solid ideas into his writing/producing efforts, so perhaps this one will prove to be a sleeper when February gets here.
