In honor of the news a new FRIDAY THE 13TH film might be starting production this March, I felt this was a good day to celebrate all things Jason. But isn't everyday? Either way, why not start by sharing with you guys the trailer for an awesome looking new FRIDAY THE 13TH fan flick called NEVER HIKE ALONE.
The flick looks professionally produced, with mucho use of gorgeous, droid-aerial photography, and seems to sport a found-footage angle. Although the film is NOT found footage… but that actually would have been kind of cool. You know, considering all that talk of a found footage Friday happening back a few years. But still, let's leave the FRIDAY franchise "found footage free" for the time being.
A new trailer is available of the fan flick right here for you to enjoy as we all hold out breathe waiting to see if this year will finally be the year Jason returns to Camp Crystal Lake. We'll see… I'm optimistic, but a new entry in the FRIDAY THE 13TH series has seen more stops and starts than I care to recount or remember right now.

NEVER HIKE ALONE sounds like the title of a survival film starring DMX.
