CW’s Riverdale is back with new season 2 trailer!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Not going to lie, I fucking loved the first season of RIVERDALE. I fully expected to hate it, as I too have gotten sick of more faux-gritty reimaginings of none-gritty things. So, when I decided to watch the first episode on Netflix, it was purely out of morbid curiosity. However, I was immediately enraptured by the twisty-turny soap opera plots, the likable teens, and the central murder mystery – not to mention the easter eggs for Archie fans (of which I am not one, but know enough through pop-culture osmosis to get a few good chuckles from them). It also has style up the wazoo. I binged the whole season in one sitting.

So needless to say, I'm looking forward to the second season, with many new plot threads revealed at the end of the first season to whet my appetite. Let's see what the show has in store for us with the new trailer:

Short, but sweet. I'm down.

Meanwhile, RIVERDALE season 2 will premiere on the CW October 11th.
